SABRINA SIGA

EQUESTRIAN ARTIST
Sabrina Siga (born 1956) has long held the highest rank in contemporary equestrian painting. 'The Racing Scene' painted in the 1980s is credited with introducing the lyrical use of color to realistic impressionism.
The website www.snafflesfineart.com has been created to show-case Sabrina's paintings. Her work since, exhibited extensively in the world’s most important art centers of London and New York is admired for its beauty and evocative power, and respected for its disregard of artistic fashion. She has been commissioned by discerning patrons wanting their favourite race horses portrayed. The list of champions that she has painted includes Affirmed, Seattle Slew, Genuine Risk, and Shergar, alongwith Astonish, Star Supreme, Indicment and many more in India.

A strong believer in the magical spark that springs a good painting to life, Sabrina approaches her art intutively, as well as intellectually, drawing inspiration wherever she may find it, “from nature and the unconsciuos, to the great artists of the past”.

Equestrian art is a classic art form “that is always right”, easy to live with and is exeedingly demanding. The artist must be proficeint in portraiture, landscape, animals and must be able to portray the subject in an aesthetic design.
The power drama and exitement of the thoroughbred is now captured by Sabrina to enable you to re-live some of your most thrilling moments in the quiet ambience of your home.
